Free Downloads: A kLoKwErK kAoS vs. FX4
I was introduced to the works of A kLoKwErK kAoS (AKK for short) through my friend Jessica. Instrumentally, my initial thoughts of AKK’s sound remind me of a blend of electronic meets the gothic and industrial sounds laced with sound bites arranged to create an array of perverse dialog and atmosphere (think John Waters). Overall, I really dig the sounds. Here’s a little bit about AKK:
A kLoKwErK kAoS music is the musical/artistic/philosophical ambition of Ambassador KLOK KAOS, though throughout time the line up has contained several rotating members. Since it’s inception in 2003, 12 full length albums have been released, the act has recieved FM and college radio play, released several interviews and played a wide array of various sized and styled venues. The music itself is typically referred to as industrial/heavy metal/goth/electronic, but frequently and intentionally crosses, blurs and mutates various genres/styles of music. Much of the catalog is instrumental though vocals and lyrics were at one time considered a central and focal theme.
For those looking for something a little more trippy, abstract, and alternative to the majority of current EDM being produced, give AKK a listen. You can download the AKK vs. FX4 (ForceFeedFornicateFoundation) tracks below. You can also check out more of the A kLoKwErK kAoS catalog on SoundCloud, which provides a wider and less John Waters-esque selection of tracks for your listening pleasure.
