Chicago area post hardcore band Restore are offering a free download of their recent demo, The Loss In Living. The demo is the band’s first release since their 2011 EP, The Wanderer. The demo includes two tracks called “The Lincoln Rail” and “1122″. Grab it while you can!

To promote their third studio album, Odd Soul, Mutemath held a promotional remix contest for the title track and first single released from the album. SkorpiuS recently remixed the song using only the vocal stem, and I find that I enjoy it much more than the original version.  The synthesized instrumentation portrays a darker song, and is less sporadic than the original version of the song.
